Olfactory memories of Magna Graecia and Tyrrhenian Sea, sought on the Southern African coast of Cape Town.
The atmosphere and soul of this ephemeral painting are bottled in a unique Chypre formula which combines distinctive and juxtaposed olfactive elements of the life of the Perfumer.
The limonaia (lemon trees garden in Italian) accord opens up with notes of bergamot, which expands into ample semi-dry lands enriched by the grounding Namibian Myrrh. At the heart of the fragrance, a rich basket of ripe black and red berries adds female energy, which is protected in a deep dark forest, noting the reign of the wilderness.
At the base of the perfume, notes of cypress, oak, pine, salt cedar, and mushroom are combined in a chord of natural oils and resins consisting of an absolute of oakmoss, benzoin resin, patchouli, labdanum, and organic khaki bush, a shrub from the fynbos whose red resinous oil also gives an aromatic uplifting mood to the perfume.
In the coda of this olfactory composition, a South-Western salty wind accord concludes this artistic Southern Chypre perfume by Casa Essenziera.
