Acqua del Capo, rare olfactory experience of the Cape Floral Kingdom

Inspired by Aqua Mirabilis (Latin for miracle water), the first spirit-citrus perfume created by Giovanni Paolo Feminis in 1693, Acqua del Capo is a Cologne which opens up with a Sicilian lemon peel, grapefruit, verbena, and Bergamotto Calabrese accord. Head notes are accompanied by Sri Lankan cinnamon bark, clove leaf, and aniseed oils reminiscent of heady perfumes used in the past.

In the heart of the perfume, a Cape Gold accord combines three oils from the Cape Floral Kingdom: Helichrysum (Immortelle), an essential oil known for its unparalleled regenerative and protective benefits; Buchu, the South African miracle herb with a Black Currant flair used by the indigenous Khoisan for centuries as an elixir of youth; and Khaki Bush, which relieves anxiety, stress, and depression.

These unique notes not only evoke the freshness of the fynbos and the richness of the Cape Floral Kingdom, but the natural Essential Oils used in the Cape Gold accord instil deep peace and tranquillity.

The perfume is designed to help us reconnect with the spiritual realm through a rare olfactory experience.
